La banda irlandesa formada en los 70s y
liderada por Bono (Paul Hewson para muchos que no lo saben) es una de
las que más éxitos ha tenido en todo este tiempo y se caracteriza
por su especial innovación no sólo a la hora de hacer música sino
en sus espectáculos. La gira 360º, por si acaso, se ha transformado
en la más exitosa de la música en toda la historia, incluso
superando a bandas como Rolling Stones y Pink Floyd o mega figuras
del pop como Madonna.
A pesar de que la gente convirtió a
varias de sus canciones en himnos (One, With or without you, Walk on,
Pride), existen muchas otras canciones que han logrado enorme
popularidad, incluyendo las que fueron banda sonoras de películas
(Batman, Tomb Raider y en la reciente participación de Bono y The
Edge en Spiderman).
